A new "capped" version of fire-rated KYDEX^® acrylic/PVC sheet for exterior and interior applications offers granite patterns in a wide variety of colors.

KYDEX 510 Granite Series sheet utilizes a clear, U.V.-resistant acrylic cap, reverse-printed with a black/white or rust/gray granite pattern. The cap is permanently fused to KYDEX substrates during the extrusion process resulting in a decorative sheet with resistance to weather.

For improved abrasion resistance, a reverse-printed PVC cap is also offered.

A great variety of granite effects can be achieved, since any of 34 standard and 1600 custom substrate colors can be capped. The sheet is also available with a clear, weatherable cap.

KYDEX 510 Granite Series sheet carries a UL fire rating of 94 V-0 as well as Notched Izod impact resistance of 15 lb. ft./in. (801 J/m) and flexural strength of 9.5 psi x 10³ (66 MPa), and is resistant to harsh chemicals, making it appropriate for thermoforming, fabricating, membrane pressing, and laminating of products intended for demanding end-use applications.

It is available in seven surface textures and gauges from .040 in. to .500 in. (1.02mm - 12.7mm)
